Clonmel Celtic 1 Bansha Celtic 2

Celtic couldn't repeat their second half performance against Town as they went down 2-1 to an impressive Bansha Celtic last Sunday. Bansha got off to the perfect start when Davy Byrnes fired home on 8 minutes. Celtic were level 10 minutes later when Adam McSherry scored from the spot after he himself had been fouled. However the visitors continued to look the better side creating more chances and hitting the woodwork. Celtic improved in the second half but Bansha still looked the hungrier side and looked more dangerous when they broke forward. Despite this Celtic almost took the lead on 72 minutes when Adam McSherry rounded the keeper but he couldn't keep his shot on target from an acute angle. Just as it looked as the game would end in stalemate Packie Dwyer fired home a wonder goal to clinch the three points for Bansha.
