Clonmel Celtic still have a bit of work to do before they can consider themselves safe following this 1-1 draw at home to Borris last Sunday. Celtic started well and had the better of the early exchanges and took the lead when David Peters scored with an absolute cracker on 25 minutes. Celtic missed a number of chances to score the all important second to make the game safe. As is often the case Celtic were made to pay for their first half profligacy as Borris came much more into the game in the second half. They got a deserved equaliser with fifteen minutes to go when Danny Graham headed home a free kick which should have been dealt with comfortably by the Celtic defence. The match finished 1 a piece to leave Celtic hanging dangerously above the relegation zone.
