Both Clonmel Celtic Juniors and Youths had to settle for home draws at the weekend.
Celtic played high flying Borris on Sunday in an entertaining game that didn't produce any goals though the visitors came close late on when Tom Ryan crashed an effort against the bar. The result again shows a marked improvement for Celtic particularly in defence where opposition teams are finding it hard to score against them.
On Saturday the Youths produced a good performance that probably merited the three points but they had to settle for a 2-2 draw. They made it hard for themselves conceding soft goals that saw them trail 2-0 at the break. However goals from Tristan O'Connor and a late equaliser from Lewis Hackett saw the points shared.
