Clonmel Celtic U14s made the perfect start to their season when Ciaran Horgan put them ahead within a minute away to Clonmel Town last Friday evening. Unfortunately that was as good as it got for Celtic as two set piece goals had Town 2-1 to the good at the break. Town remained in the ascendency in the second half against a battling Celtic adding two more goals to run out 4-1 winners.

Clonmel Celtic U12s (pictured) also tasted defeat in their competitive debut in the TSSDL going down 4-0 away to Peake Villa on Saturday.
