It wasn't a great start to the week with the U13s going down 5-0 to Cahir Park and the week didn't end much better with Celtic's U12s suffering a similar reversal to a good Clonmel Town team. Sandwiched between these two games were two better results. Goals from Akhmed and Charlie O'Brien helped Celtic U13Bs to a 2-0 win against their Cahir counterparts. On Friday evening Clonmel Celtic U16s kicked off their season with a creditable 3-3 draw away to Cahir through they will be slightly frustrated at leaving a 3-1 interval lead slip. Aidan Gaffey scored 2 with Jakub Zadarko also on the scoresheet for Celtic.
