Clonmel Celtic would like to wish a long and happy retirement to Tommy Lewis who stood down as Secretary of the TSDL at their recent AGM. Tommy was one of the founding members of the TSDL in 1977 and his tireless work and dedication has seen the TSDL recognised as one of the best run leagues in the country. At different times in his career Tommy has also served on the Munster and FAI Councils. In his role Tommy was considered tough but fair, essential skills for anyone in such a responsible position. We hope Tommy can sit back and enjoy a game of football now without worrying about the paperwork and take great pride in what he has contributed to football in South Tipperary.
