A Keith Treacy goal 10 minutes from time was enough to give Peake Villa a 1-0 win against Clonmel Celtic yesterday evening. Celtic impressed in their season opener creating plenty of opportunities themselves but unfortunately couldn't find the net in an entertaining encounter on a lovely evening for soccer in Thurles. If Celtic can produce more performances like this there is plenty reason to be optimistic for the season ahead. (See Match reports for more details).
